TRACY LAWRENCE'S MISSION:POSSIBLE
TURKEY FRY & CONCERT

The Mission: Possible Turkey Fry started in 2006 when Tracy and a couple of friends decided to buy a some fryers and turkeys from the store, gather in a parking lot and then go into homeless camps to make sure everyone was fed.

Over the last 17 years, the turkey fry has gone from frying dozens of turkeys to over 600 turkeys to feed the homeless at the Nashville Rescue Mission along with teaming up with organizations in Wilson County to feed those in need right outside Davidson County. With the support of incredible sponsors the mission has grown from not only supplying an ever-growing amount of meals, but offering monetary donations in addition to the meals.

“When we first started with a few turkeys never did I think we’d ever be frying more than a dozen turkeys, let alone be raising hundreds of thousands of dollars while doing it,” Tracy shared about how the event has grown over the years.

In the last six years, Mission: Possible has added a Benefit Concert to the event where other artists come and support the organization and cause. The concert takes place the evening after the Turkey Fry. Past performers include: Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Chris Young, Lainey Wilson, Justin Moore, Cole Swindell, and Gary Allen.

This year Mission: Possible will be taking on their biggest year yet by frying 1,200 turkeys!  With this growth, the location of the Fry will be moving to the Nashville Fairgrounds and will allow more counties outside of Davidson County to be recipients of the turkeys.
